Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Hone ("the app"), made by Enclave HK Limited ("we", "us"), handles information. It applies to the Hone iOS app and this website (hone.fun).

The short version: Hone collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party code. The app makes no network requests; your play history, ratings, and progress live only on your device.

Information we collect

None. Hone does not collect, receive, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal information or usage data. Specifically, the app has:

No accounts. There is no sign-up, login, email capture, or profile.
No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or trackers of any kind.
No third-party code that phones home. We do not embed third-party services, and no third party receives data from the app.
No network activity. The app functions entirely offline and makes no network requests.

Data that stays on your device

To function as a trainer, Hone stores your progress locally on your device: hands played, decisions graded, your skill rating, drill history, and settings. This data never leaves your device, is not backed up to our servers (we have none), and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app permanently deletes all of it.

On-device AI coaching

Coaching notes in Hone are generated on your device, using Apple's on-device models where available. No prompt, hand data, or generated text is sent to us or to any third party.

Purchases

Hone is free and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If that ever changes, payments would be handled by Apple through your App Store account; we would not receive your payment details, and this policy would be updated first.

Children and age rating

Hone is an educational strategy trainer that uses play money only: there is no real-money gambling, no prizes, and nothing to wager. Because it depicts simulated gambling, it is rated 18+ on the App Store and is not directed at children. The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including minors, because it collects no data at all.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over personal data that companies hold about you: access, correction, deletion, and portability. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to produce, correct, or delete; your data is under your control on your device. This website

This site is a static page. It sets no cookies of our own and runs no analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers; Google's privacy policy applies to those requests.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Hone ever adds a feature that transmits data, we will update this policy first, explain the change here, and update the app's App Store privacy label to match before the feature ships.
